ART HERO, Jill Block – Mrs. Hayes' third grade
Jill Block inspired the children by showing them the beautiful rings that she makes and sells at Art and Invention Gallery: http://www.artandinvention.com/. Before making their "Hero Ring" each child thought of their Super Power word that they've been using at school this year: caring, helpful, smart and kind. The Super Power Words are reflected in the children's ring, the illustrations of themselves as a super hero and in their writing.
