Art Hero, Shelia Smith "Animal Heroes to the Rescue!" Lockeland Design Center's Art Show and Sale

Mrs. Foxx's fourth grade class

Ms Shelia inspired the students to think of all the ways that animals can be heroes before teaching the students the history of and how to work with glass art. Each child created their own glass art magnet with the guidance of Ms. Shelia and then wrote and illustrated their own short story to explain their thinking on this topic. Before the art lesson we shared the story of TERRA and BELLA who are dog and elephant friend heroes to each other. You can watch their story here:
