ART HERO, Michelle Sharp – Ms. Sharp's fourth grade class
Michelle inspired the students by sharing information and examples of Roy Lichtenstein http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/01/30/sunday/main7298927.shtml . Each child envisioned themselves as a Roy Lictenstein Super Hero using their own personal Super Power Hero word. The students first drew their sketch with pencil, then painted with acrylic paint and finished it off with Sharpie and lively dots of paint in the background. Each piece is amazingly detailed and includes a piece of writing that tells the story of each "Super Hero SelfPortrait."
