ART HERO, Herb Williams - Ms. Butler's second grade class
Herb inspired the children to create their own "Super Hero Logo" by showing them examples of super heroes and their costumes. The children enjoyed linking their logo to their Super Power Hero Word and designing a logo with the help of Herb. The students first sketched their design, then painted it on a wooden background, and then glued crayons to cover the surface. The patterns, colors and symbols they choose are described in the story that goes with them.
